We are able to carry out work from simple repairs to a full restoration either at your home or in our purpose built workshops at Hutton le Hole. Most glass work that has previously been made redundant can now be restored back to its original glory. It may be a simple glass repair or a complete remake to allow your stained glass panels to be returned to their rightful place.
How do we restore windows?
Stained glass windows can be restored in several ways. Usually by carefully stripping away all the old lead from the glass and re-leading it to make a window just as good as it was when it was made by the first craftsman. The window is then sealed with a special lead cement to make it weatherproof before it is re-installed at your home.
