Borran's Glass, the region's leading stained glass studio is located in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and is based at Unit 4, The Craft Workshops, Hutton le Hole.

Our proprietor, Neil Kershaw, will be pleased to show you workshops items, from panels, fire screens, light catchers, lamps and Christmas decorations or discuss with you any commissions you may require.

We are always seeking new commissions from Stained Glass restorations and repairs or brand new panels. We will design for you or work to your own designs.

Do you remember those stained glass windows that you discarded in favour of double glazing? Have you got them hidden away somewhere? Now is the time to let us restore them and return them to where they belong. Just ask and we will explain how it can be done.

How to commission a piece of work

• Bring the measurements of the piece of work or ask us to arrange a site visit.
• Discuss the design you have in mind. We have photographs, sample panels, and design books in the workshops, or you can bring your own design.
• We will draw up the design for your approval.
• Now comes the exciting bit! Have a look through the glass samples at our workshops and pick the colours and textures of glass you would like in your design.
• The item will then be made to the agreed price and specification.
